{"id":1967,"date":"2024-03-22T08:54:38","date_gmt":"2024-03-22T08:54:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/donaufest.de\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=1967"},"modified":"2026-07-13T09:32:14","modified_gmt":"2026-07-13T07:32:14","slug":"ten-nations-meet-danube","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/donaufest.de\/en\/programm\/ten-nations-meet-danube\/","title":{"rendered":"Flow Tales - Street Art on the Danube"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Donaufest flags (Ulm\/Neu-Ulm)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the first time, the Donaufest presents its flags in the <strong>Street art style<\/strong>A Hungarian artist collective from Budapest designs the Danube Festival flags as powerful visual narratives along the Danube.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The participating artists <strong>Lilla L\u0151rinc, J\u00e1nos Borsos, Eszter Nagy and Marcell Horv\u00e1th<\/strong> are part of the independent art scene and <a href=\"https:\/\/aqb.hu\/\"><strong>art quarter budapest<\/strong><\/a> at home. Her works move between urban art, illustration and contemporary visual language - direct, multi-layered and open to interpretation.<\/p>\n<p>In total <strong>19 flag segments or stories<\/strong>:<br \/>\n<strong>14<\/strong> of which relate to countries along the Danube, <strong>5<\/strong> address universal themes that transcend national borders.<\/p>\n<p>All the stories are thematically linked to the Danube and the idea of the <strong>Water cycle<\/strong> as a metaphor for openness, visible and hidden connections and mutual influence. This creates a shared space - culturally, socially and artistically.<\/p>\n<p>In this sense, the flags reflect the basic idea of the Danube Festival itself: <strong>as a meeting place, platform for cultural exchange and shared space for diverse perspectives<\/strong>.
