Original Banater Schwabenkapelle

By chance or by design, most of the Ulmbach-Neupetsch musicians were reunited in the Göppingen area after leaving the Banat, where they founded the Original Banater Schwabenkapelle in 1983 under the direction of Horst Stromer. In September 2023 they celebrated their 40th anniversary. The Original Banater Schwabenkapelle not only plays for the Banater

Swabia. It is already an established name in the cultural life of the Göppingen area and the cultural landscape of Germany, as well as a member of the Friends of Danube Swabian Brass Music.

The vocal duo of the Original Banater Schwabenkapelle is formed by Richard Anheuer and Peter Pohl. This probably says it all about the spirit of this band, whose members include Transylvanian Saxons and locals from Göppingen as well as the Neupetschers (via 80%),
