Europe is us - IX. International Danube Youth Camp

Young people have been coming together at the International Danube Festival since 2008. This year, 83 young people from 13 Danube countries and neighbouring countries are taking part in the camp. The young adults spend a week on the banks of the Danube and experience their cultures and languages in dialogue with many others. Together they take part in workshops and discuss new ideas. The special meeting place of the Danube Youth Camp offers a protected space for the „stream of stories“. And in the best-case scenario, unifying things become visible here, where in politics and everyday life, divisiveness dominates perception. The experiences gathered at the youth camp can provide a solid foundation for dialogue and understanding.
