Since industrialisation, since we have been burning more and more coal, gas and oil for industrial processes, electricity and transport, the concentration of greenhouse gases has also been rising continuously. With effects that we are already feeling today: Extreme weather is increasing, such as heavy rainfall, droughts, hot summers and destructive hurricanes. And every tenth of a degree more of global warming means that things will get worse.
