Arts and crafts workshop for children's knot masters

In this workshop, participants will learn from Ukrainian craftswoman Olga Zavalniuk how to make the Ukrainian folk toy "Konyk", which translates as small horse. Since ancient times, the horse has symbolised the sun, courage and strength. A horse can be made from hay, straw, jute, cotton threads and scraps of plait and fabric.
The children's programme takes place in the presence of parents. Parents are liable for their children and have a duty of supervision. This does not pass to the workshop organisers.
Admission is free.
