Healthy rivers need space - visitors can find out why this is the case at the LIFE RESTORE for MDD stand. The stand will show how 17 partners from five countries in the UNESCO Five Countries Biosphere Reserve Mura-Drava-Danube are working to restore alluvial forests and revitalise natural river dynamics through 29 measures.
In the Interreg project „Danube GeoTour Plus“, partners from nine countries bordering the Danube are working together on the sustainable and inclusive development of their regions for different target groups. The UNESCO Global Geopark Swabian Alb will present the current results and future goals of the project at the Danube Festival.
Vote, share, discover: Follow the Bulgarian Danube through villages, wild nature, culture and local experiences. The national tourism cluster „Bulgarian Guide“ and the international initiatives Danube Ruralscapes and PlaceCRAFT invite you to vote for a treasure, share a Danube place and let a guide tell you its story.
