YSRA was founded in 2023 by the musicians of the internationally recognised band Meszecsinka and the singer and dancer Maria Keck. The band unites outstanding artistic personalities from the European world music scene and creates powerful, atmospheric music between tradition and contemporary expression.
At the microphone is Maria Keck, an artist - singer, dancer, musician and composer - with diverse musical roots. Born in Serbia, she grew up in Hungary, lived in Spain for almost ten years and is now continuing her artistic journey in Slovenia. Her music moves in different directions, but her central musical languages are flamenco, ethnic influences, Roma traditions and jazz.
