This year, the Donaufest in Ulm is once again being expanded to include a cultural facet. Since 2016, the international music project called donau.pop.camp has become an integral part of the festival. Musicians from the Danube countries come together to rehearse, jam and be creative.
The pop.camp not only enables intensive artistic work, but also offers space for intercultural exchange. The participants get the chance to play two concerts and get to know the local cultural scene in Ulm and Neu-Ulm.
The pop.camp has established itself as a popular meeting place for musicians and our coaches during the Donaufest. Our camp emphasises the importance of time and space for art. The intercultural experience and the promotion of individual artistic identity make the Donaufest an enrichment for young musicians.
