In 2024, we will once again build a partnership bridge to the Neu-Ulm festival "Kultur auf der Straße". Since 2022, the Donaufest has presented a street music award winner from previous years on the stage in the wine village, regardless of nationality.
In 2022, "The Trouble Notes" were awarded the Audience Award by the viewers.
The Berlin-based trio consists of violinist Bennet Cerven, guitarist Florian Eisenschmidt and percussionist Oliver Maguire. Their music manages to transport imaginary scenarios and forge skilful connections without the addition of words. The trio's aesthetic brings the sublime contemporary sounds of EDM, hip-hop, indie rock and stoner rock to the disciplinary traditions of classical music, gypsy and jazz. With their pan-cultural mix of different musical influences, The Trouble Notes inspire an ever-growing crowd of people all over the world. Whether as festival headliners or street musicians.
